Privacy Policy - ShapeMeAI

ShapeMeAI is an iOS app that generates illustrative outfit previews from a source photo and an outfit reference selected by the user. This policy explains what data is processed, why it is processed, who handles it, and how you can exercise your rights.

1. Controller and contact

The app is operated by the ShapeMeAI project team. For any data-related question, use the ShapeMeAI Support page.

2. Data we process

ShapeMeAI may process the following categories of data:

photos you select, including the source photo and outfit reference;
generated previews and related technical metadata;
RevenueCat App User ID and subscription status;
credit balance, usage history, and validated in-app purchases;
date of birth stored locally on device for 18+ eligibility;
support messages and limited technical logs.

3. Purposes

This data is used to:

produce outfit previews on request;
manage credits, Studio Pass subscriptions, and consumable purchases;
secure the API, prevent abuse, and provide support;
comply with legal obligations and App Store rules.

Your photos are not used for targeted advertising and are not sold to advertisers.

4. Legal basis

Processing is mainly based on performance of the service, your explicit consent before photos are sent for AI processing, and our legitimate interests in security, billing, and abuse prevention.

5. Processors and hosting

The service may rely on:

Apple — App Store distribution and in-app purchases;
RevenueCat — purchase validation and entitlements;
Google Gemini — image generation through our backend;
hosting infrastructure operated for ShapeMeAI (API: api.yatofix.com/shapeme).

AI providers receive only the photos needed to create the requested preview, as described on the AI usage page.

6. Retention

Generated previews and account data are retained for as long as needed to operate the service and manage credits. You can request deletion through support.

7. Intended audience

ShapeMeAI is for adults only (18+). Do not upload photos of minors.

8. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your data through the Data page or support.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
